Bargello is a type quilt top that looks like waves of varying sizes and colours. It can look like intertwined hearts or just a 'wave' across the quilt top. They look intimidating but Joy Rector will show you some of her spectacular results and tell you they are not. She plans to show how to read a Bargello pattern and show some of her work in progress. She's a fun person to talk to and will show how colours can work together that you might not think of for a Bargello.
The evening will start at 6:30pm and the door will open at about 6:15pm. It's an informal evening so come in and enjoy. There is no cost to you but I do need to set out chairs, so please email or call if you are coming- to guarantee a seat. Email: mrspsamherst@gmail.com Phone during shop hours 902-661-4260. You can also drop in and let me know in person!
I don't seem to have a picture of a Bargello quilt to show you, but if you google Bargello, there should be lots of images.
Hope to see you that evening!
