Welcome to Mrs Pugsley's Emporium Inc...
Covid-19 era!

Currently, I am more active on Facebook and can be found under https://www.facebook.com/MrsPsAmherst/

Today, I wanted to post a lot of pictures and this is an easier platform to do that on.  (There are a lot that follow at the end of the post.)

We have a great selection of batiks in from Island Batik!  A batik is a tightly woven cotton.  If you are sewing with batiks, use a fresh sharp needle!  Besides being closely woven, there was a lot of dyes and wax used in their process to achieve those great colours!   If marking a batik for quilting, or other reason, check your mark can be removed!

They feel 'thinner' than a regular quilting cotton but that is because they more threads per area as the individual threads are finer.  Unfortunately,  hand quilters are unable to quilt easily through a batik but it can be done!  You need lots of sharp needles.  :)

You can email myself  (Beth) directly at mrspsamherst@gmail.com to order anything on this page or for other enquiries.  First come, first serve.

We rip these batiks so only Fat Quarters (FQ's), 1/2
metres and metres or larger can be ordered per bolt.

 Prices are FQ's= $5 each
1/2 metres are $8.25 each and
$15.95/metre.

Once you decide on a selection, I will invoice you and we will decide a pick up time from the shop for you. Shipping is also available via Canada Post.

Thank you for your support! Respect the 2 metre distance rule and #FlattenTheCurve!
